Infant care services
We are trained in infant CPR and first aid. Please note that a baby nurse is not a registered nurse, but someone trained and experience in the care of infants and newborn. Through my many years of experience, We have become accustomed to handling a variety of common infant minor medical issues such as: diaper rashes, skin conditions, reflux, colic and cradle cap, etc.
We currently offer these services, baby nurse, night baby nurse, travel baby nurse, for singletons, twins, triplets and mulitples.
Baby Nurse
A baby nurse is an experienced newborn and infant care specialist that come into your home to provide assistance and support within the first few weeks that your baby is home.The following are some of the infant care related tasks we perform:
- Bathing
- Nail and hair care
- Diaper Changing
- Umbilical cord care
- Post circumcision care
- Facilitate breast and/or bottle feeding
- Sterilization of infant products
- Swaddling
- Keeping a log of the infants daily schedule.
- Providing a nurturing and stimulating environment during the day.
- Assisting mothers during the postpartum period.
Night Baby Nurse
As your night baby nurse, we will provide care for your baby while you get some much needed sleep. During the night we will perform the following duties:
- Feed your baby if bottle fed
- If your baby is breast fed we will bring the baby to you
- Burp and change the baby
- Swaddle, soothe and rock baby back to sleep
- Clean bottles and tidy up nursery
Traveling Baby Nurse
A traveling baby nurse will come to your home and provide 24/hr care to your infant or accompanies you on family trips.
