BABY NURSE/NIGHT BABY NURSE/TRAVEL BABY NURSE Contract 

This Contract is made this _________ day of _______________, 200__ between 
____________________________________________________ ("Parents") 
and IntimateInfantCare (“baby nurses”). 

1. Terms of Contract.

This Contract begins on ________________, 200__ and 
continues through ________________, 200__ (the “Term”). The Term may be extended by written
contract of both parties.
 
2.Termination: 

A. Parents may terminate this Contract, by providing notice to baby nurse if she is charged
with a felony, stealing, abuses drugs and or alcohol, neglects or abuses infant/children.
Termination for any other reason requires one week notice with pay.

B. Baby nurse may terminate by giving one week notice or provide a replacement to cover
schedule.
 
3.Reason For Contract: 

Parents are contracting with baby nurse to 
provide baby nurse/night baby nurse/traveling baby nurse care, as stated under the
terms and conditions of this contract, to an infant/newborn(s) that is to be born to
or to be adopted by parents and for no other purpose. 

4.Compensation.
 
Parents agree to pay a deposit of one half a week salary.(refundable if baby nurse cancels).

A.Parents agree to pay baby nurse a weekly salary of $_______ . Acceptable payment are cash
or money order only. Compensation must be payed weekly.

B.If parents requires baby nurse to work on legal holidays, such as Thanks-giving,Easter,Labor Day 
Christmas, New Years, 4th of July, and Memorial Day, pay is time and a half. Baby nurse
reserves the right to provide a replacement if she is not available.
 

C.Baby nurse is an independent contractor and therefore responsible for filing her own
taxes, thus taxes are not to be witheld. 

Clients Responsibilities

Parents shall provide clean linens, comfortable sleeping quarters and meals for babynurse.

Cover all travel expenses when retaining the services of a traveling baby nurse to and
from her destination.

6.Schedule. 

Baby nurse shall work a total of ______ nights during the contracted period, 
the following hours: Schedule liable to be changed.

Baby nurse will work a minimum of eight hours per night.

Baby nurse requires two days off after 3 week work schedule. A replacement will be 
provided during this period.

Baby nurse will have up to two hour breaks.With flexible time permitted. 
 
7.Baby Nurse Duties:

Basic care which includes the following but not limited to:


sponge bath 

tub bath
 
circumcision care
 
umbilical cord care 

hair and nail care
 
Breastfeeding assistance ( I understand that my baby nurse is not a lactation specialist,
her assistance to me will entail her assisting me with positioning as well as helping me
with the labeling and storage of breast milk)       

Cleaning and preparing baby bottles 
		   	    
Wash,fold and put away baby clothes 
				     
Keeping nursery clean
				
Taking baby outdoors on a daily basis if the weather permits
									 
Escorting parent/parents to infant/s doctor appointments

Baby nurse duties and responsibilities do not include housekeeping or pet care
